It's been way too long since I've updated this blog. Shame on me! Well, to my excuse...it's been pretty busy. It's all been a very good kind of busy.
Last week we said good-bye to our Japanese exchange students. We love them dearly and are so thankful for the chance to get to know them and have lots of fun with them. But, it's also good to get back to normal (kind of) around here.
One fun thing is that Hannah's golf continues to be so rewarding for her. Her teacher said he hates giving out compliments but, that Hannah has a better swing that more than half of his students (who are mostly adults). He said she's got more natural talent than any child her age he's worked with...and he's worked with hundreds of kids. OK- so I'm bragging...I'm sorry...but, that is just really fun to me. The thing I love is that she genuinely LOVES it! I believe golf will be a big part of our family in the future. It's a great way to spend a lot of time together.
Below are a slew of pictures I just took from my phone from the past couple of weeks.

| We went to Olympic Game farm where the animals literally reach their big slobbery heads into your car to get some bread. The kids loved it! The poor guy in the picture above has a piece of bread stuck on his horn. I just kind of felt sorry for him but I couldn't help but laugh a little. I don't think he minds. |
 |
| We went to the Naval Undersea Museum as a spontaneous and free activity. The kids were all about learning about submarines. |

| Goodbye Mizuki and Hina! We will miss you! |
 |
| What silly children. |
 |
| Zoo day with some friends! Henry got caught by a giant spider. But thankfully Super Girl, aka Hannah, saved him. |
 |
| One of the most exciting things is that Hannah got new golf clubs! I don't think there's another 5 year old on the planet that would be as excited as she was to get golf clubs. She had to take them home and analyze and admire each individual club. She really does remind me of someone...I just can't put my finger on in though. :0) |
